Forget the Cake…Let’s Cut The GELATO!

Does anyone out there really eat the cake at a wedding? Oh sure, we all graciously accept a slice as it is being passed around and take an obligatory few nibbles, but really, who eats their whole piece? Obviously, wedding cakes are designed to be pretty, rather than tasty! Please understand this is simply one opinion; if you had a fabulously decadent and delicious cake at your wedding, then I apologize and I would take it back if I had tried a piece and enjoyed it, but I was NOT invited to your wedding, so therefore, my thesis still holds true (at least in my mind!) Wedding cakes are so last year, so I say, let’s cut the gelato!

Ok, so I understand that cake is a tradition, but that does not mean that you cannot include other sophisticated dessert options as well. Cold Fusion Gelato offers over 300+ varieties of gelato and sorbetto that we can supply for your upcoming nuptials. Want a customized flavor for you and your spouse? No problem! We can make anything (not all of it works, but believe me, we will try!) Do you have picky guests with dietary and lifestyle restrictions? No problem, we offer many dairy-free and Vegan options as well.

Unique and sophisticated, having gelato at your wedding will be sure to impress your guests. You can even replace the traditional ice cream sundae bar with gelato, allowing for a beautiful display, with no need for toppings because of gelato’s rich and intense flavor. Our gelato and sorbet will be the star of your dessert table, even surpassing the bubbling chocolate fountain in greatness!

Still not sold? Well, gelato can also be affordable. Most of our pans are available for under $30 and serve between 25-30 people per pan (that’s less than $1 per person)

If you are getting married in New England, Long Island or the metro NYC area and are looking for a finishing touch that will have your guests singing “That’s Amore” then look no further, because Cold Fusion Gelato has your answer! Give us a call, or send us an e-mail today! Nicole, our Sales Manager will answer any questions you might have and help you to take at least one item off of your plate (no pun intended) during the stressful wedding planning process. Eat Your Vegetables In Gelato?

Your mother always told you to eat your vegetables, right? You were either bribed to eat them with guilt-ridden tidbits that there were starving children that would love to have your peas, to which your witty response of, “well, why don’t you send it to them then,” was never met with the laughter. Or you and your parents faced off in a game of wills, which most of the time resulted in you falling head first and unconscious from exhaustion and boredom into said bowl of peas. Here at Cold Fusion Gelato, we eat our vegetables in a whole new way….frozen!

No, not from a bag as you would expect, but swirled with our delicious gelato base and touched with just the right hint of ingredients, making you like, no, love vegetables, and fruits too of course. Sweet potato, parsnip, ginger, pumpkin, cucumber, blackberry, raspberry, black currant, key lime, passionfruit, watermelon are just a smattering of the flavors we offer that honor the natural flavors and sweetness of fruits and veggies. And just like you, we like our fruits and veggies in season, which is why our menu board changes seasonally, so that you can enjoy pumpkin and parsnip in the fall and watermelon in the summer, as nature intended. On occasion we understand that you may want to enjoy Strawberry in the middle of winter and for that we use frozen fruits and purees that have been flash frozen at the peak of freshness and maintained, so that you can enjoy the season of summer all winter long.

So, bring some delicious flavors home with you today or try it at one of the many locations we partner with, but either way, start enjoying your vegetables today the Cold Fusion way!
