About Our Sorbet!
What is sorbet?
Sorbet is made just like gelato, but with no milk, thus providing a no-fat, no-lactose alternative to gelato. All of our sorbets are made using the freshest possible ingredients, picked at their moment of peak ripeness to maintain the most intense flavor possible.
How is our sorbet so smooth?
Many people wonder how our sorbet can be so smooth and almost creamy, when the sorbet they might be used to eating has an icy texture. We pride ourselves in developing an extremely creamy-tasting sorbet, full of the pure fruit flavor, without using any dairy products. (After all, if we used dairy, then it wouldn’t be sorbet!) We carefully test every recipe and hone our technique, so you get a wonderfully smooth texture, full of the pure fruit goodness found in the orchards and on the farms where we get our fruit.
Are fruit flavors the only sorbet flavors available?
We are currently working on developing non-fruit sorbet flavors, such as espresso, chocolate, hazelnut, and others we are just starting to imagine!
Do we use artifical flavors & preservatives?
No! We use all-natural ingredients in our gelato with no artificial flavors, artificial preservatives or artificial colors. Our product is fresh and our flavors are pure!
What does artisan mean?
To us, artisan means our product is hand-made, fresh, every day, using
all-natural ingredients. Each batch is taste-tested to ensure the highest
quality possible; nothing is determined solely by a formula. We always look
for the freshest, best ingredients, and strive to support local farms and
suppliers, especially for our fruits, whenever possible. We are family-owned,
and strive to infuse the utmost personality and integrity into our gelato
and sorbet.
